Victoria Jefferson

Principal, Carfax College

Victoria has been at Carfax College since its first days. Before her appointment as Principal, she was Academic Registrar, recruiting and developing the College's academic staff.

Victoria has a range of teaching experience. She has taught geography at secondary level, tutored undergraduates at the University of Oxford, and worked as an Associate Lecturer for the Open University. Before joining Carfax, she worked for the University of Oxford's Department of Education, organizing and delivering introductory teaching courses for graduates and research staff at the University.

Victoria has a doctorate in Archaeology from the University of Oxford on the subject of Colonialism in Southern France during the Iron Age and a first-class undergraduate degree from the University of Liverpool.
